Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned commercial professional to manage our bulk fuel terminal operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective governance and performance of our asset management, including the commercial delivery of capital projects.

This is a key leadership role that requires strong commercial acumen, project delivery experience, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure transparency, accountability, and value protection in all commercial dealings.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managing large complex commercial functions in industrial project environments, with deep knowledge of project delivery models and financial structures.

In this role, you will work closely with project managers, engineering, procurement, legal, and external delivery partners to ensure the successful delivery of projects valued up to $50 million.

About the Role
  • This is a highly commercial role that requires the ability to engage with legal, technical, and executive stakeholders to protect value and ensure project success.
  • The successful candidate will have a proven track record of supporting client-side asset management agreements and projects valued up to $50 million.
  • Deep knowledge of commercial models such as EPC, EPCM, D&C, and Principal Contractor delivery structures is essential for this role.
  • Strong contract drafting, interpretation, and negotiation skills are required, with experience managing AS4000, AS4902, or bespoke agreements.
Key Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in commerce, construction law, engineering, quantity surveying, or a related field.
  • A commercially astute professional with a strong track record managing large complex commercial functions in industrial project environments.
  • Proven experience working in a client-side delivery model, with a focus on commercial strategy, tendering, and contract administration.
