Strategic Resource Coordinator

About the Role:

You will be responsible for developing resource allocation processes, working closely with leaders across our brand-new customer fulfilment centre to collaborate on best practice processes for the site. You will also:

  • lead resource allocation processes for the new site, collaborating with central management and onsite teams to deliver effective processes;
  • manage 3PL relationships to ensure resource needs are met and ongoing service delivery;
  • maintain the resource planning system as a business super user. Ensure that the system accurately reflects all labour tasks and rates to meet business requirements. Plan and manage a rigorous process for budget & quarterly changes to system;
  • drive a customer-focused culture across all departments of the operation, ensuring customers receive 'the perfect order' each time;
  • be a champion for safety and lead an operational safety-first culture.

About You and Your Skills:

We are looking for an experienced resource manager who has had exposure to an automated distribution centre, with a passion for developing processes and growing a continuous improvement culture. You will also need:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline;
  • extensive experience in labour scheduling and resource allocation;
  • strong background in large, single-site operations that have a large workforce;
  • proven commercial acumen is essential;
  • able to lead a team of technical resources, and a large volume of cross-functional stakeholders;
  • strong analytical capabilities and the ability to identify & drive continuous Improvement initiatives.
