Lead Technology Planning Specialist

Take on the challenge of driving strategic demand management, capacity planning, and resource optimisation to support innovation and operational excellence in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

This pivotal role will ensure that technology resources are effectively aligned with business objectives, enabling us to achieve operational excellence and sustainable growth through advanced planning methodologies. You'll lead processes for identifying, prioritising, and capturing technology demands, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demand Management & Capacity Planning: Develop and implement frameworks to maximise efficiency in technology investments and drive continuous improvement in resource management.
  • Resource Optimisation: Design capacity models to forecast technology resource needs, track utilisation, and identify optimisation opportunities.
  • Financial Planning: Oversee financial planning for technology investments, partnering with finance to ensure budgets align with technology resource needs and priorities.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team of planning specialists, fostering a data-driven, collaborative culture focused on continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Established senior leadership experience in complex technology environments.
  • Strong expertise in demand management, capacity planning, or resource management roles.
  • Proven experience in leading technology planning functions, building forecasting models, and implementing planning tools.
  • Extensive background in technology delivery, operations, or strategic planning.
