Senior Business Development Manager

This role involves leading complex, long-term projects that drive business capability growth and enhancement. As a senior project manager, you will oversee cross-functional teams and ensure successful delivery of strategic objectives.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex projects, with a strong focus on governance, process development, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and lead project teams to deliver strategic objectives
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
- Implement project management governance frameworks
- Conduct risk assessments and identify mitigation strategies
- Support the development of project management talent
- Cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain compliance with defence and safety standards
- Report on project progress to senior leaders
- Minimum 10 years' experience in complex project environments
- Proven leadership in setting up project teams, managing project managers, and developing talent
- Strong governance and process development capabilities
- Understanding of centralised services business models
- Experience in managing diverse projects, including supply chain, workforce, technology, and infrastructure
- Proficiency in project management tools
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Tertiary qualifications in a technical or project management discipline

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
