Riggers Workwear, a leading supplier of premium safety workwear and PPE, is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to take the reins and lead us into our next era of growth.

What You'll Lead & Build:

New Business & Market Expansion

  • Identify and close major B2B opportunities across Mining, Construction, Oil & Gas, and more
  • Develop and execute bold market-entry strategies
  • Build a high-value sales pipeline through strategic prospecting, networking, and tender positioning
  • Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing national sales team
  • Foster a culture of accountability, excellence, and growth
  • Create pathways for career development and mentorship

Strategic Growth Execution

  • Design and present winning business growth strategies
  • Own and drive quarterly sales performance
  • Cultivate relationships with enterprise-level clients and industry leaders

Operational Excellence & Customer Success

  • Oversee customer engagement strategies and account retention
  • Collaborate across procurement, marketing, and operations for seamless delivery
  • Lead quarterly business reviews and leverage CRM data for insights

Leadership Beyond Sales

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration
  • Represent Riggers at key industry events and networking opportunities
  • Champion safety standards and ISO compliance

Who You Are:

  • 6+ years in business development or sales leadership, preferably B2B
  • Proven ability to build and scale national sales teams
  • Track record of success in new market development and enterprise sales
  • A strategic thinker with a bias for action
  • Exceptional communicator with strong analytical, negotiation, and organisational skills
  • Proficient in Salesforce, MS Excel, and sales analytics tools
  • Passionate, driven, and ready to build something meaningful
  • Industry experience in workwear, PPE, or safety is highly regarded.
