About this role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Business Development Representative to join our Wound Care Sales team.

As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating leads and actively seeking out new business opportunities in the aged care and community arena. You will have excellent communication skills, a passion for driving growth, and a hunger to succeed in a dynamic and rapidly growing business.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Contacting aged care facilities and community providers through cold calls and email.
  • Researching and identifying potential customers to generate leads.
  • Qualifying leads for our field sales team by understanding customer needs and introducing our wound care products.
  • Maintaining a database of leads and prospects in our CRM system.
  • Collaborating with the field sales team to schedule appointments.
  • Participating in team meetings to share insights and develop strategies.
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activities.
  • Conducting regular follow-ups with leads and customers to maximise growth opportunities.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven success in a similar sales role.
  • Experience in successfully applying sales models, processes, and tools.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Effective time management skills and administrative capabilities.
  • Self-motivation, drive, and a results-oriented approach.
  • The ability to build rapport and establish trust with potential clients.
