Microsoft CSP Business Development Manager

As a key member of our dynamic team at Tech Data Advanced Solutions (ANZ) Limited, you will play a vital role in driving the growth of our Microsoft Cloud Solutions business. In this exciting Business Development Manager position, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase sales and revenue across our portfolio of Microsoft partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be a thought leader on Microsoft technology and offerings, including Azure, AI, security, cloud migrations, and the Microsoft CSP program.
  • You will work closely with our Cloud Sales Manager and Microsoft Programs Manager to develop engagement plans for our assigned partners, including enablement, planning, execution, and analysis.
  • You will be a highly active and visible member of our Microsoft sales team and all assigned partner organizations, working to build strong, trusting relationships.
  • The role will involve interlinking closely with both partners and Microsoft to develop sales competencies and, from time to time, working directly with end-user customers along with the partner.

Requirements:

  • High School Certificate or equivalent.
  • Gained a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Five (5) years+ of experience in Microsoft sales, preferably with the Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program and channels.
  • Knowledge and deep technical understanding of Microsoft Partner ecosystem and solutions (Azure, Modern Workplace, Business Solutions, and Security) including how to leverage the incentive and co-op programs.
  • Appropriate and current certifications, including Azure Fundamentals (AZ 900) and AI Fundamentals (AI 900).
  • Intermediate to advanced software skills, including MS Office suite and CRM systems.
  • Ability to work autonomously, devise processes, and manage time and prioritization.
  • Superior communications skills and ability to establish strong relationships with internal and external customers/vendors.
