Cybersecurity Business Development Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at TD SYNNEX. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for selling our Tech Data Security portfolio across an assigned set of partners in the Victorian Sales territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives and exceed budget targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendor sales teams, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to generate new partner interest, top-of-funnel leads, and efficient high-volume deal closure rates.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for business expansion.
- Work closely with the Business Manager to develop and implement engagement and enablement plans for partners.
- Identify opportunities for business expansion in support of the customer sales strategy.
Requirements
- High School Certificate or equivalent.
- Gained a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or 5+ years relevant experience.
- Minimum 3+ year's Sales, Business Development, Product or Channel management in the IT Security industry highly desirable.
- Key relationship track record across the Security Partner landscape highly desirable.
- Proven ability in working with major IT Vendors and their sales representatives.
- A general understanding of quoting.
- Intermediate to advanced software skills, including MS Office suite and logical document-based ERP systems.
- A demonstrated capacity to ensure supply chain profitability.
- Ability to work autonomously, devise process, and manage time and prioritization.
- Superior communications skills and ability to establish strong relationships with internal and external customers/vendors.
