Equipment Maintenance Specialist

The primary focus of this role is to maintain and repair equipment used in a variety of settings. This includes installed machinery, as well as new installations at different sites.

Responsibilities include:

  • Regularly inspecting equipment for faults and performing necessary repairs
  • Conducting site visits to install and commission new equipment
  • Providing exceptional customer service to both internal stakeholders and external customers
  • Analyzing areas of potential improvement and providing recommendations to the maintenance team
  • Cleaning and maintaining equipment to ensure optimal performance

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A trade certificate or equivalent experience working with electrical/mechanical systems
  • Previous experience with operating systems, software installation, and mobile telecommunications
  • Strong analytical skills, particularly when dealing with complex systems and equipment
  • Ability to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends

Required Qualifications:

  • Trade Certificate III in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
  • Disconnect-Reconnect Certificate or equivalent experience
  • Appliance/Mechanical Trade background or comparable experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with troubleshooting electronic equipment and replacing circuit boards, sensors, and other components
  • Unrestricted driver's license and willingness to submit a full driving history record

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a variety of settings, including office environments and outdoor locations. The ability to lift heavy equipment and work at heights may be required in some instances.
