Deliver Exceptional Care Management

The role of a Care Manager involves overseeing the daily operations of an aged care facility. You will be responsible for guiding a dedicated team to deliver high-quality resident care while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Care Manager. As a key member of the care team, you will oversee staff supervision, budget management, and quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities

  • Staff Supervision: Provide guidance and support to ensure that staff are equipped to deliver exceptional care to residents.
  • Budget Management: Oversee the financial aspects of the facility to ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Leadership: Demonstrate strong leadership skills to motivate and empower staff to deliver excellent care.
  • Collaboration: Foster positive relationships with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to achieve shared goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Nursing degree
  • Current AHPRA Registration in Australia as a Registered Nurse
  • COVID Vaccination (including at least one booster)
  • Flu Vaccination
  • First aid and CPR certification
  • Minimum 6 months of full-time experience working in aged care as an RN in Australia
  • Experience as a nurse in charge or working in regional locations
  • Current Police Check (less than 12 months old)
  • NDIS Clearance or willingness to obtain
