Leading a Safe and Engaging OSHC Service

We are seeking an exceptional Program Manager to lead our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) service at a prominent educational institution. As a skilled leader, you will guide and support a dedicated on-site team to create a secure and stimulating environment for children.

About the Role

  • Guide and mentor a committed on-site leadership team
  • Provide daily guidance and practical support to staff members
  • Develop strong relationships with children, families, and school leaders
  • Oversee all communication with families and the school administration
  • Maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and quality in education

Your Team

You will work closely with a dedicated team including 2 Full-Time Directors of Service, 1 Second in Charge, and a wider team of permanent and casual educators.

What You'll Need

  • Diploma-level (or higher) ACECQA-approved qualification in childcare or education management
  • A current Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
  • First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an OSHC or education leadership position

Key Responsibilities

  • To manage and coordinate daily activities and operations of the OSHC service
  • To maintain a safe and healthy environment for children and staff members
  • To ensure effective communication with parents and carers about their children's progress and any issues that may arise
