We are seeking a skilled Volunteer Coordinator to join our team. As a Volunteer Coordinator, you will play a vital role in engaging and supporting volunteers to assist consumers in participating in everyday activities.

This position involves leading the implementation of processes for volunteering, participant involvement, and carer engagement in the ongoing development, review, and evaluation of programs and activities. You will consider individual goals, diversity, and the needs and preferences of participants when planning initiatives.

You will oversee and participate in capacity building and social inclusion initiatives for participants, ensuring their involvement and contribution to community life.

Your Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in your application, you will meet the person specification, including having a tertiary qualification in Disability, Social Work, Community Services, or a related discipline, and experience working with vulnerable people.

You will also have current valid Victorian Driver's Licence, current first aid and CPR certificates, previous experience in volunteer coordination and support roles, proven ability to engage and collaborate with a volunteer workforce, demonstrated experience working with vulnerable people, and strong interpersonal skills to form effective working relationships with various stakeholders.
