About the Role

We are seeking a Theatre Engagement Specialist to join our team. As a Theatre Engagement Specialist, you will play a key role in developing and implementing Community Engagement Action Plans across our program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop strategic partnerships with First Peoples communities to support their engagement with our theatre company.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community groups and organisations to foster long-term collaborations.
  • Coordinate tour scheduling, working closely with partners and stakeholders to achieve timely and cost-effective outcomes.
  • Manage project resources, funding, and budgets to ensure successful delivery of theatre productions.
Selection Criteria:
  • Demonstrated experience working with First Peoples cultures and communities, particularly in arts and culture contexts.
  • Established networks within the First Peoples and Australian arts communities, or the First Peoples health sector.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and groups.
