Sector Engagement and Coordination Specialist

The Principal Adviser, Sector Engagement and Coordination plays a crucial role in stakeholder engagement best practice. This strategic position ensures high-quality sector engagement and coordination of communications with diverse stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Embedding an engagement operating model and promoting a culture of best practice engagement.
- Establishing systems to coordinate engagement across portfolios and align with the department's strategic objectives.
- Leading a high-profile engagement portfolio for key stakeholders, ensuring responsive and coordinated activity aligned with the department's narrative and key messages.
- Evaluating engagement activity and identifying opportunities for improvement.
The successful candidate will maintain an understanding of issues impacting stakeholders, investigate and lead engagement projects, and forge strong connections across the department and with external stakeholders to facilitate partnership approaches.
Strong communication skills and the ability to drive best practice approaches are essential for this role. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field and significant experience in stakeholder engagement and management are preferred.
