Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned leader to manage the Fuel team, ensuring timely and accurate task completion, mitigating risks, and driving process improvements.

This role is responsible for ensuring the tasks of the Fuel team are completed on time and accurately, and mitigating risks relating to the administration of fuel cards across the Sg Fleet Group. The successful candidate will manage the quality and performance of the team and their processes, establishing strong relationships with suppliers, statutory authorities, customers and internal departments.

The major responsibilities of this role include:

  • Training, coaching and motivating the team to create a culture of collaborative leadership, process improvement and communication
  • Establishing strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal departments
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes within the Fuel team
  • Managing the day-to-day running of the fuel team
  • Providing monitoring and reporting on team performance and productivity
  • Providing superior service aligned with clients' needs and the organisation's business objectives

Key skills and experience required include:

  • Proven leadership, training and coaching skills
  • Experience in a leadership role
  • Effective and professional communication skills
  • Proficiency in software packages, including advanced spreadsheet and word processing skills
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Good analytical and reconciliation skills
