Cleared Recruitment is partnering with a leading Multinational ICT Services Corporation to find a seasoned professional to lead their Defence Operations team in Canberra.

About the Opportunity:

This role requires a minimum NV2 Security Clearance and involves overseeing and managing Infrastructure Services for Defence Deployed Services, including technical maintenance, hosting, end-user computing, networks, and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Streamline and standardise processes across Defence Operations' Infrastructure Services to ensure efficient delivery and meet client expectations.
  • Identify and implement technology and process improvements to optimise delivery, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure adherence to governance standards and statutory regulations, including workplace health and safety.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering engagement and driving results.
  • Continuously review and refine strategies, processes, and business improvements with a focus on innovation and value.
  • Align initiatives with business strategy and collaborate effectively with other business units.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the organisation's service portfolio and marketplace trends to provide insights on challenges and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of leadership and management experience, ideally within Defence or Federal Government sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering top-quality service to multiple clients and stakeholders in an ICT environment.
  • Proven experience in driving change through process and policy development, training, and strategy execution.
  • Cisco Experience
  • Technical Background with Networking Operations, Network Design, logistics experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, alongside strong customer service abilities.
  • NV2 Security Clearance is essential.
  • Defence sector experience is highly desirable.
