About the Role

The Director of Food and Beverage will oversee the Event venues, Tea Lounge, Promenade Cafe, and Speakers Corner, functioning as the Business Manager and Marketing specialist for the Food and Beverage department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Building and nurturing positive relationships with guests and colleagues.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to increase sales and profitability.
  • Creating and executing marketing plans to attract customers.
  • Ensuring venues are prepared for service according to defined standards.
  • Collaborating with chefs to create and update menus.
  • Hiring, training, and supervising team members.
  • Managing budgets and monitoring expenses.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel policies.
Requirements
  • University degree or Diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management.
  • Demonstrated recent experience as a Director of F&B or Assistant Director of F&B in a large property.
  • Good operational, administrative, and interpersonal skills.
  • Wine/beverage knowledge in an upscale environment preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work with a flexible schedule.
  • A valid and current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
