About the Opportunity:
This role requires a minimum NV2 Security Clearance and is focused on overseeing and managing Infrastructure Services for Defence Deployed Services, including areas such as technical maintenance, hosting, end-user computing, networks, and operations.
The Director will be responsible for:
- Streamlining and standardising processes across Defence Operations' Infrastructure Services to ensure efficient delivery and meet or exceed client expectations.
- Identifying and implementing technology and process improvements to optimise delivery, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Ensuring adherence to governance standards and statutory regulations, including workplace health and safety.
- Leading and developing a high-performing team, fostering engagement and driving results.
- Continuously reviewing and refining strategies, processes, and business improvements with a focus on innovation and value.
- Aligning initiatives with business strategy and collaborating effectively with other business units.
- Maintaining a deep understanding of the organisation's service portfolio and marketplace trends to provide insights on challenges and emerging technologies.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of leadership and management experience, ideally within Defence or Federal Government sectors.
- Demonstrated success in delivering top-quality service to multiple clients and stakeholders in an ICT environment.
- Proven experience in driving change through process and policy development, training, and strategy execution.
- Cisco Experience
- Technical Background with Networking Operations, Network Design, logistics experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, alongside strong customer service abilities.
- NV2 Security Clearance is essential.
- Defence sector experience is highly desirable.
