About This Role

We are seeking an accomplished Logistics Policy and Doctrine Officer to perform complex logistics policy work within an integrated workforce.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and provide advice on legislation, policy, and procedures within the Logistics Management function area.
  • Conduct specialist research and analysis, assess situations, and undertake procedural and clerical support work to achieve results.
  • Coordinate team work and contribute to task completion by providing advice and assistance to team members.
  • Prioritize tasks, allocate work, and manage workflows and performance.
  • Evaluate and enhance the quality of work undertaken by others and identify opportunities for on-the-job training within a work unit.
  • Engage with stakeholders to address issues and provide advice on matters affecting work unit and Defence outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A strong understanding of procurement and requirements determination is essential, preferably within a Defence or Government environment.
  • You will exercise sound judgement, engage in complex problem-solving, and effectively manage issues.

You will possess relevant experience in logistics management and a proven ability to interpret and apply legislation, policy, and procedures.
