**The Opportunity
**The Food Safety and Quality Coordinator requires a high level of attention to detail and a strong ability to prioritise. You will be the main point of contact to ensure the products distributed to Woolworths Supermarkets and customers of Primary Connect, are up to the high quality standard our customers are accustomed to. You will work closely with our store teams to connect communities with the products they need and love.
**Key Responsibilities include**:

- **Ensure overall that the scope of the Quality and Excellence program is implemented and complied with at the DC**
- **Conduct food safety Weekly Verification walks throughout the DC and grounds.**
- **Raise Corrective Action Report and investigations where non conformances are found**
- **Record and monitor pest trends and customer complaints**
- **Perform routine calibration checks on equipment where relevant and maintains adequate records**
- **Conducts HACCP team meetings at the required frequency.**
- **Completes 2 Control Self Assessments on the DC and Transport as instructed by National Risk and Compliance Specialist**
- **Facilitates, assists and clarifies DC processes for external audits and ensures that all CARs are closed out from the audit.**
- **Communicate with the National Risk and Compliance team on trends and issues by attending the quarterly QEC meeting**
- **Coordinate training for team members across the DC
**Who we’re looking for
**We’re looking for a resilient, results driven individual who is able to negotiate and influence stakeholders at all levels. Who will also**:

- **Demonstrated experience in food safety in a temperature controlled environment**
- **Experience working in a FMCG distribution centre or food manufacturing environment**
- **Strong communication and influencing skills to effectively build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders**
- **Planning, problem solving skills and ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks**
- **Excellent organisation and administrative skills**
- **Ability to identify, manage and mitigate risk**
- **Promote and drive continuous improvement and innovation**
- **HACCP accreditation preferred but not essential**
- **A high level of accuracy and an eye for detail
