The Role

As an Account Executive, you will be part of a team responsible for dealing with a portfolio of clients from various industries.

This portfolio generates substantial revenue, with the largest client accounting for $100,000. Most clients have annual premiums between $10,000 and $20,000. The majority of broking is done in the general lines space, with a smaller portion focusing on professional indemnity for financial planners.

You will also receive support from an internal account executive handling processing and internal broking work.

Main duties include:

  • Visiting clients and building personal relationships
  • Mentoring internal account executives supporting this portfolio
  • Assisting in generating new business
  • Processing renewals and endorsements
  • Developing industry knowledge

To succeed, you should ideally meet the following criteria:

  • Tier 1 qualified in broking
  • Previous experience handling a portfolio of general insurance clients
  • Energetic and driven individual
  • Genuine desire for a long-term career
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure
  • Excellent time management skills
