Job Title: Caseworker
- About the Role
A Caseworker is required to manage dual roles of monitoring young offenders' compliance with court orders and intervening to address issues that place them at risk of re-offending. This role will also involve working to reduce re-offending through culturally appropriate assessment and intervention skills, processes, and programs.
- Key Responsibilities
- Work effectively within a statutory environment to manage cases and monitor young offenders' compliance with court orders.
- Proactively work to reduce re-offending through evidence-based assessment and intervention skills, processes, and programs.
- Collaborate as part of a team to achieve positive outcomes for victims, young offenders, their families, and the community.
- Prepare and present reports to stakeholders, including verbal and written reports to the Children's Court.
- Undertake record keeping and information management tasks to ensure accountability.
- Participate in professional development activities to improve skills and contribute to organisational goals.
- Demonstrate cultural capability and commitment to developing cultural understanding to support an inclusive culture.
- What We Offer
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering salary $74,641 to $108,192 per annum plus 12.75% superannuation.
