Job Overview

The Endpoint Engineering team plays a vital role in assisting companies by providing day-to-day support and recommending best practices to implement. The team is responsible for designing, building, supporting, and continuously improving end-user solutions end-to-end, enabling customers to transform their business and modernize their user experience.

The Endpoint Engineering Operations Manager will lead a team of Endpoint Engineering Specialists within the Intelligent Workspace group to ensure that best practice support methodologies are executed, technical expertise is leveraged, and high levels of customer satisfaction are achieved.

  • Provide technical leadership and drive a high-performance culture within the team.
  • Lead automation efforts, drive improvements and efficiencies, and oversee daily operations of the Endpoint Engineering team with minimal supervision from management.
  • Validate and assist in maintaining the client's risk and issues registers.
  • Provide governance to all implementations and changes affecting the end-user SOE environment and ensure best practice support methodologies are implemented.
  • Assist with and drive the identification and implementation of shift-left initiatives.
  • Identify improvements/project revenue opportunities within new accounts and/or contribute to the Service Improvement register for existing clients.
  • Ensure project design principles result in service improvements, efficiencies, and cost reductions for the customer post-implementation.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of Endpoint Engineering Specialists.
  • Providing technical leadership and driving a high-performance culture.
  • Overseeing daily operations and implementing best practice support methodologies.
  • Validating and maintaining the client's risk and issues registers.
  • Providing governance to all implementations and changes.
  • Driving automation efforts and identifying improvements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A comprehensive understanding of supporting customers across an outsourced delivery environment.
  • Previous operational management experience within a Managed Services Environment.
  • An excellent understanding of financials surrounding profit and loss.
  • Knowledge of Hardware and Software Vendors support processes, including product lifecycles.
  • Advanced End User management knowledge.
  • Modern and traditional End Point Device Management Solutions (SCCM, Intune, AutoPilot, and other MDM/endpoint management solutions).
  • Microsoft Operating System Configuration & Deployment (Win10-Win11).
  • Collaboration Platforms (Teams for Business, Planner).
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both a technical and non-technical format.
  • Ability to operate under limited direction.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent delegation skills clearly outlining expectations and accountability.
  • Ability to interface with all levels of management both internal and external.
  • Ability to build a cohesive team and work with large teams.

  • Beginner Level Project Management principles, and/or Project Management.
  • Ability to work with customers to conduct discovery tasks to support project engagements.
  • M365 Stack exposure.
  • Azure Virtual Desktop experience.
  • Apple OS support and project experience.
  • ITIL Certifications.
