About Challenge Community Services:
We are a reputable organization dedicated to empowering children, young people, and foster carers in the community.
As a Carer Compliance Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our services meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular reviews of foster care arrangements, maintaining accurate records, and supporting potential foster carers through the authorization process.
In addition to these key tasks, you will also assist in delivering training programs, assessing placement options for children and young people, and organizing events to promote foster care activities.
To be successful in this role, you will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders. You must also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Our ideal candidate will have qualifications in Community Services or a related field, or relevant experience and knowledge in the Out-of-Home Care sector. They will also have a proven track record of working effectively in fast-paced environments, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining high-quality results.
We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $$83,000 per annum, plus benefits such as salary packaging, entertainment/meal cards, novated lease, and extra leave. Key Requirements:
- Qualifications in Community Services or a related field, or relevant experience and knowledge in the OOHC sector.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure, with attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to assess and analyze information to make recommendations to strengthen a carer's ability to provide trauma-related care.
