Compliance Officer for Foster Care and Community Development

We are seeking a highly motivated Compliance Officer to join our team at Challenge Community Services. This role involves conducting thorough reviews, recruitment, and training initiatives for foster carers.
As the Compliance Officer, you will ensure we maintain compliance with internal and external requirements related to foster carers. Key responsibilities include conducting regular assessments, maintaining accurate databases and records, and supporting potential foster carers through the authorization process.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct regular reviews of foster carer applications and assessments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date databases and records
- Support potential foster carers through the authorization process
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Qualifications in Community Services or a related field, or relevant experience and knowledge in the Out-of-Home Care (OOHC) sector
- Effective communication skills with the ability to engage with a range of audiences
- Demonstrated ability to write comprehensive assessment reports with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring deadlines are met without sacrificing quality
- Strong team player with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Experience in using client management systems and databases
- Required Checks: A current NSW Working With Children Check, NDIS Workers Screening Check, and full COVID vaccination status
- Driving License: Possession of an Australian Driver's License
We offer a competitive salary package, including:
- $85,000 - $110,000 per annum
