Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical individual with experience in commercial sales, operational, and customer service environments. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the meticulous planning and execution of our projects as a Sales Estimator. This involves pricing quotations, effectively responding to tenders, both domestically and internationally, and maintaining accuracy and efficiency within established business processes, guidelines, and policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurate Quotation Production: Accountable for the timely production of consistent, professional, accurate, and timely project quotations to meet sales staff/customer needs.
  • Construction Project Drawings Review: Responsible for reviewing construction project drawings and conducting accurate take-offs for preparation of tender responses, specifications, and indicative project quotations.
  • National Processes Adherence: Adhere to national processes for all functions of estimation and coordination.
  • Sales and Operations Enhancement: Enhance Sales and Operations view of won project work, with emphasis on long lead time product.
  • Performance Metrics Achievement: Achieve performance metrics as directed by Commercial Sales Manager.
  • Meeting Participation: Attend and contribute to meetings as required.
  • Margin Improvement: Deliver margin improvement through initiatives, follow-up, and communication.
Requirements:
  • Commercial Experience: Experience in commercial, sales, operational, and/or customer service environments, preferably in plumbing or construction environment.
  • Product Knowledge: Good working knowledge of Front of Wall plumbing products for kitchen & bathroom fitouts, including the competitive landscape (manufacturers, merchants, and technical landscape).
  • Commercial Sales Process: Comprehensive knowledge of the commercial sales process, including pricing and profit.
  • Operations Understanding: Good understanding of sales and operations requirements.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
  • Planning and Time Management: Strong planning, coordination, and time management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Technical Skills: Understanding of Microsoft Excel, Salesforce, and SAP (preferred).

Salary Range
