Are you a seasoned project management professional seeking a challenging role? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Defence division as a Project Manager

About the Role:

As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal part in shaping our new team's culture by overseeing and managing projects arising from estate maintenance request activities, survey & quote activities, and estate works requests across multiple defence bases.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  1. Developing, reviewing, and maintaining project quality plans to ensure high standards are met and compliance of project documentation is upheld.
  2. Preparing and presenting project status reports to senior management, providing insightful analysis and recommendations.
  3. Conducting regular financial performance reviews to ensure projects are on budget and financially viable, identifying areas for improvement.
  4. Coordinating with various stakeholders, including military personnel, contractors, and internal teams, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
  5. Ensuring workplace health and safety guidelines are set, implemented, and monitored throughout the project lifecycle, prioritizing employee well-being.
  6. Overseeing the procurement of materials and services required for project completion, identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to address them.

About You:

We are looking for an exceptional candidate who possesses:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in project management, preferably in the Defence sector or similar industry.
  • Experience with estate maintenance request activities, survey & quote activities, and estate works requests is highly desirable.
  • A strong understanding of workplace health and safety regulations and standards, ensuring compliance and employee safety.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools, leveraging technology to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, demonstrating a solid foundation in project management principles.
