Program and Project Management Professional

The Australian Government Department of Defence is seeking a skilled individual to join the Transformation Program Management Office (TPMO) as a Program and Project Management professional.

The Role:

The TPMO has been established to provide program oversight of Defence's priority enabling projects and programs, assisting in decision making and informing the sequencing, alignment, quality and enduring nature of these enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.

You will build relationships with stakeholders across the Defence enterprise to collect feedback, provide advice and facilitate capability uplift and professional support available from our expertise retainer. Individuals with prior experience in program and/or project management are encouraged to apply.

About Our Team:

The Defence Transformation Strategy provides the vision and framework for long-term, enterprise-wide transformation, enhancing Defence's capacity to adapt as circumstances change. Adaptation and agility are central to Defence's ability to fulfil its role and meet its commitments.

The Defence Transformation Office has been established to drive an enduring continuous improvement culture across Defence, led by and connected to the Strategic Centre, through the implementation of the Strategy and development of the Business Transformation Cycle.
