The Opportunity
  • Conduct thorough and procedurally fair investigations into workplace issues, including misconduct, bullying, harassment, and discrimination.
  • Draw on your expertise in HR and formal training in workplace investigations to plan, scope, and execute investigations that meet the highest standards.
  • Analyse evidence, prepare clear investigation reports, and provide practical recommendations to resolve complex cases.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and diverse teams to drive positive outcomes and promote a culture of respect and inclusivity.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Human Resource Management, Business Management, Industrial Relations, Employment Law, or a related field; postgraduate qualifications desirable.
  • Specialised training in workplace investigations and at least five years' experience conducting workplace or regulatory investigations, ideally within government or large complex organisations.
  • Proven ability to research, interpret and apply legislation, policies, and guidance in ambiguous situations.
  • Strong judgement, independence, and risk-based decision-making in handling complex cases.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, including influencing, negotiation, and managing sensitive or high-conflict situations with professionalism.
