A rewarding opportunity awaits passionate professionals to support individuals living with dementia. We are seeking a skilled Dementia Support Coach to provide on-the-ground support, model and coach best practice care, and develop expertise in aged care staff and carers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with peers to develop skills and expertise of aged care staff and carers
- Support implementation of recommendation plans and draw on modelling and coaching techniques
- Facilitate and support trial and implementation of brokerage items with clients and their carers
Requirements:
- Strong organisational abilities and effective time management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to excellence in customer service principles
- Current driver's licence and safe driving record
- Willingness to travel and work intrastate and interstate
- Relevant qualifications in Allied Health, Enrolled Nurse (EN), Aged Care or similar highly desirable
