Business Learning and Development Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Learning and Development Coordinator to join our team. This dynamic role offers an exciting opportunity to drive learning and development functions across the business, fostering a culture of continuous professional development.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for streamlining training processes, identifying skills gaps, and developing effective onboarding sessions for new staff members. Your commitment to nurturing a culture of accountability, drive, and passion within the company will be instrumental in achieving our goals.
The successful candidate will have experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), as well as proficiency in SCORM tools and presentation facilitation. A basic understanding of current key business technologies and concepts is also essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Building strong relationships with all employees to ensure effective training and development remains a retention piece for the business.
- Conducting regular surveys with employees to gauge engagement on current training plans and identify areas for improvement.
- Working closely with HR to understand motivations, skills, and IQ/EQ/AQ of all new and current employees.
- Ensuring all staff receive comprehensive onboarding sessions conducive to success.
- Attentive execution of assigned administrative tasks, including creating course material in LMS, certification collection and maintenance, and reporting on training trends.
- Experience using LMS and HRIS tools.
- Experience using SCORM tools.
- Experience in presenting and facilitating workshops.
- Basic understanding of Current Key Business Technologies and concepts.
