We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Claims Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a positive impact on people's lives.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of worker's compensation claims, providing timely and personal customer focused service to injured workers and employers. They will proactively and effectively manage all aspects of the claim, ensuring compliance with legislation and guidelines.
Your Key Responsibilities- Manage Caseload: The successful candidate will have the ability to multitask and shift priorities when needed, handling a high volume of claims in a timely and efficient manner.
- Customer Service: Provide accurate and complete information that is consistent and easy to understand (including options about any claim, entitlements, obligations and responsibilities).
- Claim Reviews: Conduct regular claim reviews, case conferences or face-to-face meetings with clients as required.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in customer service, preferably in a medical, hospitality, retail or corporate field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to think creatively and come up with innovative solutions.
- High attention to detail and organisational skills.
