Claims Management Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Claims Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing claims effectively, with a strong focus on customer centric support and delivering excellent results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively manage a portfolio of workers compensation claims to achieve the optimum outcome of early and sustainable return to work with reasonable claim costs.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals, employers, brokers, rehab providers, and other stakeholders to create an effective Return to Work strategy.
  • Assist the worker and employer with the claim process, providing support, managing expectations, and ensuring timely access to required services to support return to work and injury recovery.
  • Assess aspects of liability and recovery relevant to the legislation or policies while undertaking ongoing reviews in relation to entitlements and payments.
  • Respond to escalations and provide coaching and mentoring to other members of the team.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience managing claims within a similar industry.
  • An empathetic, resilient, and motivational approach to provide customer centric support.
  • A driven professional with highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Careful consideration to detail with a high concern for accuracy.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and management.
  • A team player who likes to work collaboratively and can also work independently.
