The role of the Strategic Infrastructure Manager is to provide effective leadership in state-wide health asset management services. This includes developing and implementing strategies for communicating and engaging with Hospital and Health Services, government agencies, and industry to align Queensland's public health infrastructure with contemporary health service needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proven knowledge and experience in managing large and complex infrastructure portfolios.
  • Understanding of infrastructure management concepts and relevant legislation, Australian Standards, and policy.
  • Experience in planning and implementing infrastructure initiatives and achieving project objectives by managing multiple tasks, setting priorities, and achieving results within tight deadlines.
  • High level of analytical, research, and management skills to deal with multiple stakeholders, complex issues, and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in communication, consultation, negotiation, and establishment of internal and external networks.
  • Leadership in project management and implementation of projects, including scoping projects, engaging and directing consultants/contractors, and delivering quality customer-focused service outcomes.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications in Infrastructure Management, Facilities Management, Building Construction, Engineering, or technical fields would be well regarded.
