Infrastructure Planner

This role provides strategic advice, leadership, and technical expertise to support the development of infrastructure planning and asset management strategies in educational settings.

The successful candidate will have a background in infrastructure planning, asset management, and policy development, with proven experience in program evaluation within the government sector.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement policies and strategies for effective asset management and maintenance planning.
  • Provide high-level advice on infrastructure, planning, and asset management issues to executives, senior managers, and principals.
  • Oversee the allocation of resources and develop business rules for service delivery partners.
  • Analyze data from the Asset Life Cycle Assessment process to inform long-term investment decisions.
  • Prepare reports and correspondence on infrastructure, planning, and asset management issues.
  • Lead a team, foster collaboration, and drive continuous improvement.
Key Qualifications
  • Proven expertise in infrastructure planning, asset management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience evaluating programs and delivering evidence-based strategies.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with experience preparing high-level reports and correspondence.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and foster collaboration.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of infrastructure planning principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.
