Job Title: Strategic Infrastructure Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Strategic Infrastructure Manager to lead the development and implementation of negotiation strategies aimed at securing access to necessary airport infrastructure.

This role involves providing technical and people leadership to a team of commercial specialists, ensuring our organization has access to the airport infrastructure required to meet strategic, operational and product requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate aeronautical pricing and commercial terms securing access to infrastructure required to meet organizational strategic, operational and financial requirements
  • Challenging airport development proposals from a demand, scope and cost perspective
  • Managing airport performance against contract, including annual security reconciliation, capital investment performance against plan and service level management
  • Approving monthly invoices
  • Building effective and productive relationships with relevant teams
  • Contributing to expanding commercial knowledge base, negotiation skills and contract management practices across the Airports Commercial and Planning team
  • Demonstrating organizational and leadership behaviors

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Law or related discipline
  • 10 years' experience in commercial roles, with a strong focus on negotiation, relationships and commercial acumen
  • Extensive negotiation experience
  • People leadership experience
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating complex commercial arrangements with third parties
  • Strong people and stakeholder management skills enabling credible and autonomous engagement of internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills enabling explanation of complex commercial issues to senior management
  • Highly developed problem-solving skills enabling development of creative commercial solutions meeting needs of internal and external stakeholders
  • High level of personal and professional accountability and resilience
