Job Overview

We are seeking a professional to deliver high-quality civil engineering design for process plant platforms, access roads, drainage, and infrastructure in remote terrain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in earthworks, roadworks, and drainage design engineering.

The role requires the ability to lead and manage civil project teams, supervise engineers, review deliverables, and provide technical expertise. Collaborating with project teams is also essential, providing input to site selection and layout optimization of mineral processing plants.

About the Role
  • Civil Engineering Design: Deliver civil engineering design for process plant platforms, access roads, drainage, and infrastructure in remote terrain.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage civil project teams, supervise engineers, and review deliverables.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with project teams, providing input to site selection and layout optimization of mineral processing plants.
  • Cost Management: Contribute to cost-efficient delivery by managing project budgets and reviewing capital cost estimates.
  • Documentation: Issue drawings and information for tender and construction.
About You
  • Degree Qualification: Degree qualified in Civil Engineering.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven ability to lead and manage civil project teams.
  • Design Experience: Experience in earthworks, roadworks, and drainage design engineering in the mining industry.
  • Software Skills: Knowledge of mining facility design and experience with 12D, AutoCad, or Civil 3D software.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong communication skills, time management abilities, and ability to resolve technical issues efficiently and mentor personnel.
