Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Specialist to implement, manage and retire infrastructure that supports digital services. This role requires in-depth knowledge of ICT platforms to provide expert advice on the management and maintenance of those platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Design and evaluate infrastructure requirements to meet future demand.
  • Provide technical support for project build, test and solution deployment activities.
  • Prepare, review and maintain documentation such as design documents, implementation plans and test plans.

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with key suppliers to ensure a robust gateway infrastructure capability for the business. As a Senior Infrastructure Specialist, you will liaise with architecture and shared services areas to ensure the security of day-to-day technical operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • At least five years demonstrated experience in designing, managing and maintaining internet gateways and large-scale data centre networking environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing services utilising F5/Blue Coat Layer 4-7 switching/load balancing and proxy systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and deploying network infrastructure including Cisco Data Centre technologies.
