Senior Infrastructure Planning Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Planning Specialist to join our team. This role will play a key part in planning and managing infrastructure projects within the region, ensuring that all necessary approvals and regulatory requirements are met.

  • Develop and manage detailed Board Papers and documentation to provide commercial, economic, and strategic advice on major infrastructure projects.
  • Contribute to the development of systems to identify potential risks and issues related to infrastructure approvals and regulatory compliance.
  • Represent Unitywater's interests in meetings with external agencies and stakeholders to ensure alignment with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, law, or town planning, with experience in stakeholder management, project planning, and regulatory compliance.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government regulators, contractors, and community groups.
  • Manage and coordinate the preparation of technical reports, submissions, and other documentation required for infrastructure projects.
  • Provide high-level advice on infrastructure planning and regulatory matters to senior management and external stakeholders.
