Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Chocolate Production Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating state-of-the-art chocolate moulding lines, including enrobing, depositing, mixing fillings and tempering chocolate.

You will be part of a dynamic production environment where quality control and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are paramount. Your attention to detail and ability to follow set recipes and methods will ensure the highest quality chocolates are produced.

Main Responsibilities
  • Operate chocolate moulding lines, including enrobing, depositing, mixing fillings and tempering chocolate.
  • Ensure quality control and GMP guidelines are met at all times.
  • Organize packing staff on end of belt packing.
  • Follow set recipes and methods to create chocolates.
  • Mix/blending of ingredients to make fillings ready for depositing.
  • Follow a production schedule.
  • Consistent heavy lifting up to 25kg.
  • Clean down of machinery and line changeover.
  • Paperwork and traceability.
  • Stock ordering.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A background in a manufacturing environment, ideally food and FMCG.
  • Technical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Takes pride in work and maintains a clean and tidy work area.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Quick learning attitude.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Strict attention to detail and quality standards with the ability to adhere to Food Safety policies and standards.
  • Can-do attitude.
  • Punctual and reliable history.
