Production Lead for Chocolate Moulding Lines

The successful candidate will oversee the operation of chocolate moulding lines, ensuring production goals are met while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Main duties include:

  • Supervising a team to achieve production targets in a secure workplace
  • Operating high-tech chocolate equipment, including tempering, depositing, mixing fillings, and enrobing
  • Maintaining overall machine operations, guaranteeing quality control and adherence to GMP guidelines
  • Organizing packing personnel at end-of-line stations
  • Executing established recipes and procedures to produce chocolates according to specifications
  • Preparing filling ingredients by mixing and blending
  • Following and executing production schedules
  • Performing regular heavy lifting of up to 25kg throughout shifts
  • Efficiently completing machine clean-downs and line changeovers
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and traceability records
  • Monitoring stock levels and placing orders when necessary

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in food or FMCG
  • Proven leadership skills within a production environment
  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a quick learning attitude
  • Ability to perform frequent heavy lifting and manual handling tasks
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a clean, organized workspace compliant with food safety regulations
  • A proactive and reliable approach with punctuality
