Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Chocolate Production Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing facility, you will be responsible for operating high-tech chocolate moulding lines, ensuring quality control and adhering to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Operate state-of-the-art chocolate moulding lines, including enrobing, depositing, mixing fillings, and tempering chocolate.
  • Be responsible for end-to-end machine operations, ensuring quality control and adherence to GMP guidelines.
  • Organise packing staff on the end-of-belt packing line.
  • Follow set recipes and methods to create chocolates.
  • Mix and blend ingredients to prepare fillings for depositing.
  • Follow a production schedule.
  • Perform consistent heavy lifting up to 25kg.
  • Clean down machinery and perform line changeovers.
  • Complete paperwork and maintain traceability.
  • Order stock as needed.
Requirements:
  • A background in a manufacturing environment, ideally food and FMCG.
  • Technical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Take pride in your work and maintain a clean and tidy work area.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A quick learning attitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strict attention to detail and quality standards with the ability to adhere to Food Safety policies and standards.
  • Can-do attitude and punctual and reliable history.
