We are seeking a dedicated individual to coordinate Gecko Talks, a monthly event held at Currumbin RSL. The role involves attending the talks, booking speakers, and liaising with stakeholders to ensure the success of this community-driven initiative.
About the Role:- Attending Gecko talks to engage with speakers and attendees.
- Booking speakers to deliver engaging presentations on a variety of topics.
- Liaising with Currumbin RSL staff to coordinate logistics and resources.
- Preparing promotional materials to raise awareness about the event.
- Being proficient in relevant computer software to streamline tasks and improve efficiency.
- Multitasking skills to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Event planning experience to ensure smooth execution and high-quality outcomes.
- Effective communication skills to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Independence as a team member to work collaboratively and autonomously.
- Administration to manage day-to-day tasks and responsibilities.
- Office Management to maintain organization and productivity.
- Committees to contribute to group decision-making and goal-setting.
- Marketing to promote the event and attract attendees.
- Media and Communications to develop engaging content and messaging.
- Fundraising to secure resources and support for the event.
