Are you a highly organized and proactive individual looking for a new challenge? We're seeking an Event Operations Manager to oversee one of our most beloved weekly events on the Gold Coast.

This role offers a unique blend of event management, vendor coordination, and community engagement. As an Event Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of our flagship event, from set-up to pack down.

About the Role
  • Event Management: Oversee all aspects of the event, including vendor logistics, live issue management, and crowd control.
  • Vendor Coordination: Manage vendor applications, allocations, and layouts to deliver a great event mix.
  • Community Engagement: Act as the key contact for participants, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring excellent visitor experiences and keeping the community coming back.
  • Support Additional Seasonal Events: Assist with planning and onsite logistics for additional seasonal events.

We're looking for someone who can roll up their sleeves and keep things moving, even when it gets busy. You should have:

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 2+ Years' Experience in a Supervisory or Management Role: Events, hospitality, retail, or operations experience ideal.
  • Strong People Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
  • A Calm, Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to work under pressure and think on your feet.
  • Great Organizational and Multitasking Abilities: Willingness to work outdoors and handle early starts.
