Our organisation provides place-based human services and support to communities in North and Far North Queensland.

Job Description
  • This is a dynamic role within our crisis accommodation program where you will provide essential support to individuals affected by alcohol.
  • You will work closely with clients to ensure their wellbeing while staying at the Centre, providing assistance with basic needs such as food, water, showering and laundry facilities.
About the Role
  • Provide high-quality care and support to clients in a safe and culturally appropriate environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive team culture.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, families and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of programs and services that promote client outcomes and satisfaction.

Requirements
  • A commitment to our values and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations, particularly those affected by substance abuse.

  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures, including food hygiene and manual handling.
