Senior Communications Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Communications Professional to develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies that enhance our reputation, foster community engagement, and support organisational priorities.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in shaping and delivering effective communication campaigns that drive meaningful results.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement integrated communication strategies.
- Provide informed strategic advice and practical support to strengthen our communications and community profile.
- Enhance visibility through targeted media outreach and proactive media relations.
- Monitor digital performance and adapt strategies to meet community expectations.
- Support community events, key initiatives, and crisis communication when required.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Journalism, or related field (or significant experience).
- Strong expertise in strategic communication, stakeholder engagement, and media relations.
- Proven ability to deliver impactful messaging across digital and traditional platforms.
- Ability to manage communication challenges in high-pressure situations.
