Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Paediatric Unit. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert clinical knowledge and care to consumers/patients with a variety of conditions.
Key Accountabilities- Practice Excellence
- Practice in accordance with the code of ethics, professional standards, and legislation affecting nursing/midwifery practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within the scope of position.
- Critical Care
- Respond appropriately to and provide support and direction to manage sudden alterations in the health status of the consumer/patient using advanced nursing assessment and intervention skills.
- Quality Improvement
- Demonstrate commitment to continuous quality improvement and best practice principles to optimise consumer/patient centred care and organisational outcomes by undertaking projects and research as required.
- Communication
- Utilise communication processes and systems which enhance consumer/patient care delivery and unit functioning.
