Talent Focus is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team in the Lockyer Valley Region. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing guidance, coordination, and support to ensure the highest standards of infection prevention and management.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe and healthy environment for residents.
- Conduct regular assessments and provide education to staff on infection control practices.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure comprehensive coverage and support for residents.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to maintain excellence in infection control.
- Complete an Infection Control course from ACIPC, with the cost covered by Talent Focus.
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in Aged Care.
- Demonstrated expertise in nursing care, including infection control.
- Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
- Understanding of relevant legislative requirements and professional standards in infection control.
- Proven track record in meeting accreditation requirements.
- Proactive and energetic time management.
