The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will report to the Clinical Director and lead a team of Registered Nurses. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the clinical and specialised nursing care needs of residents are met and documented.
  • Providing clinical support to Registered staff on the floor.
  • Actively managing and participating in the service provision to residents with complex clinical care needs, with a focus on wound, diabetic, behavioural, medication, nutrition, hydration, pressure care, and incontinence management.
  • Ensuring resident assessments, care plans, and other relevant clinical documentation are accurately completed and reflect the complete needs of the resident and legislative requirements.
About You

We are looking for an established clinician who is passionate about the aged care sector and has a track record of developing and leading clinical services. The successful candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor of Nursing with current APHRA registration.
  • Demonstrated understanding of assessment and care planning.
  • Well-developed time management and organisational skills.
