We are seeking a dedicated and innovative STEM Teacher to join our community at Holy Rosary School. As a collaborative member of our team, you will be responsible for creating engaging learning experiences in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) that cater to diverse needs and promote student growth.

About the Role

This 0.2 contract position is available from Thursday mornings in 2025. The successful applicant will work closely with the partner STEM teacher who works on Wednesdays to provide a seamless learning experience for students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create innovative and challenging learning experiences in STEM that support diverse needs and improve student outcomes.
  • Implement the practices of Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) to foster a positive school culture.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to extend and celebrate student learning in STEM.
  • Develop and maintain positive workplace relationships.
  • Reflect on personal practice and contribute to the professional growth of self and others.

Requirements

  • Have an understanding of the ethos and traditions of the Catholic Church.
  • Be registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
  • Be accredited to teach in a Catholic school or committed to achieving this accreditation.
  • Be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
  • Commit to Holy Rosary School's Child Safe policies and the Code of Conduct.
